Biography
Momina Mustehsan is a Pakistani Singer and Songwriter she was born on 5th of September 1992 Mustehsan completed her A ‘Level from Lahore and she moved to the States for higher education she completed her Graduation with a Double Majors Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University New York .
Without any formal music training Momina first come across with music in 2004 when she recorded her first cover of Irish singer Damien Rice’s song The Blower’s Daughter she had a good commend at that time with no music training and background
Momina recorded a song “Sajna” on Junoon’s twentieth anniversary for them song “Sajna” was written by Ali Azmat and this song was bonus track in the album the song “Pee Jaun” is writing by Momina in 2012 and she sung that song with Farhan Saeed “Pee Jaun” was also featured on Nescafe Basement in 2015
Momina recorded a song “Awari” with Pakistani band “Soch” Song “Awari” was used in Bollywood film “Ek Villan” this song was recorded in her University dorm she says she wasn’t knows that song “Awari” will be use in film. For Pakistani romantic drama film “Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay” she recorded a title song “Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay” in 2016 Momina performed in Coke Studio in season 9 song “Afreen Afreen” beside Rahat Fateh Ali Khan this song was viewed over 2.5 million in one day and soon this song become the most viewed Pakistani origin You Tube video she also performed “Main Raasta” written by her and “Tera Who Pyar”. Momina Mustehsan is the ambassador of Pakistan Super League team for Islamabad United
